lost in translation: episode one

At this point in our bloggery, we think it's damn time to start a running feature. Enter "Lost In Translation." This will consist of hopefully many installments (and should, as there's no shortage of material) of kooky English translations that we encounter throughout South Korea. Let it be known that the Koreans have a very skewed perception of the English language, as evidenced by the T-shirts, signs, menus, and the like that a native English speaker can amuse him/herself with daily. And do we ever. Some are misspelled, some are grammatically incorrect, some are worded so wrongly that they mean something clearly unintended, and some are just downright indecipherable, as though an infant got his hands on those word magnets and created a random string of words. The first installment is one of the downright indecipherable variety.
